Provide managerial support to the Intake Manager in all areas of the running of the department, with a specific focus on staffing, training, and performance management. Work with the Intake Manager to ensure that our Christ-centered culture of grace, compassion and hospitality is consistently shown to all staff, visitors, and guests.

Job Plan

Safety and Security

·       Monitor, maintain overall safety of buildings and grounds

·       Oversee procedures related to searches, bag room, tote room, scrub room

·       Use non-aggressive, non-physical actions to address issues.  Engage law enforcement or medical personnel as needed.

·       Monitor guest behavior, ensure adherence to MTM policies and procedures

·       Interact positively with others, answer questions, provide information, escort visitors

·       Help guests manage their schedule, activities, and mail while they are with us 

·       Promptly communicate guest issues or concerns with advocates and leadership

·       Provide or ensure proper hiring, training, and ongoing coaching of Intake Specialists

·       Provide coaching and performance management for Intake Specialists, to include providing accurate documentation to HR

·       Execute 90 day goal setting program and annual evaluation process for Intake Specialists

·       Provide accurate scheduling, PTO management, and payroll practices related to the department

·       Monitor completion of new hire and recurring trainings, such as CPR, De-escalation, First Aid

·       Provide guidance, support, and coaching for Intake Specialists and department volunteers and interns during shifts

·       Ensure accurate shift reports and incident reports are provided during shifts
